Bernardine Franciscan Associates' Day of Prayer

The Bernardine Franciscan Associates from Reading, PA and Shenandoah, PA gathered on Saturday, October 15th in Reading, PA to share in their Day of Prayer. the theme of the prayer, "God is Doing Something New" with the YouTube presentation by Sister Carol Zinn, SSJ, on the "Associate Vocation" offered the associates time to listen, pray and reflect on living the charism of Trust in Divine Providence and sharing in the mission of our congregation.

In the DVD, "Called to Trust", the associates were reminded how God was doing something new in the life of Mother Veronica and challenged to consider how to be open to God doing something new in their lives.

The day closed with the Ceremony of Commitment where five associates from Shenandoah received the Associate pin and all the gathered associates made their annual commitment as Franciscan men and women to live the Gospel way of life in the spirit of St. Francis and Mother Veronica.
